SGE Credit Union is owned by the members – everyday people – instead of external shareholders. Every year SGE hold an Annual General Meeting, where all members have the opportunity to come along and have a say in the running of the Credit Union.
As we don’t need to pay external shareholders, we can provide improved financial solutions, better facilities and competitive interest rates on savings and loan products to our members, and participate in community and partner activities benefiting everyone! Our Business Development Officers regularly attend events and outings to offer support and also introduce SGE and its benefits to any new members. That is the SGE difference.

From workplace visits to home visits, phone enquiries to email enquiries, or face-to-face service, these are our easy banking every day options for member. Face-to-face communication is important to our members, and that is why we have 10 service centres throughout New South Wales and Victoria, servicing members of Bathurst, Lismore, Liverpool, Newcastle, Parramatta, Wagga Wagga and Wollongong and are looking to expand! We have a call centre that is available during business hours to help you if you cannot get into a service centre. Alongside this we offer other easy banking options including phone, internet and mobile banking so our members can have access to their accounts at anytime they need.
