SGE believe in community. We are involved in several projects that support the community in which we serve. Being a community-based organisation, we understand the importance of nurturing our environment and local communities.
 
 
SGE are currently involved with the following community projects and activities:

VIC Western Health Network Scholarships
Department of Corrective Services Employee of the year
NSW Ambulance Employee of the month and Employee of the year
SGE/CPSU Scholarships
 
SGE Credit Union also sponsors the:
Newtown Jets Rugby League Team
Berowra Football Club
IEU Race Day
 

SGE employees regularly donate to various charities, including Vision Australia, The Cancer Council, The Salvation Army, Kids Helpline, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Canteen and Jeans for Genes Day.
