Dave Taylor 

Chief Executive Officer

BA (First Class Hons), Graduate AMP (Cornall Business School), MAICD

Dave Taylor was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SGE Credit Union in April 2010. Dave has over 22 years of finance industry experience across numerous Executive, consulting and Board roles, including 11 years as a Senior Executive with Credit Union Services Corporation (CUSCAL) and 9 years as Managing Director of Finance Industry Consulting Services.

Previously holder of several University and Government advisory positions                       between 1984-1989. Numerous past Directorships in the finance industry, including on the Boards of ASX-listed companies.

Dave was the former Director of the Australian Payments Clearing Association and member of the Australian Payment Systems Council. He is currently a Director of Australian Mutual Capital Funding Ltd and Auscoal Super Advisory Services.

Rosanna Argall    MBA, FCIS

Deputy CEO and Company Secretary

MBA, Grad. Diploma (Applied Corporate Governance)

Rosanna has been working within the finance industry in a range of roles and organsiations for over 20 years. She began her career in finance at St George Building Society, moving into the credit union industry where she has held a variety of positions. In her time at these various organisations, Rosanna has moved between frontline operations, customer service, lending, administration and marketing roles gathering a broad range of skills and experience. Since joining SGE, Rosanna has held positions within marketing, human resources, call centre operations, IT and business development and sales.

Rosanna is the Secretary of the Audit & Risk Committee and Governance, Nominations and Remuneration Committee and Company Secretary and is a member of the Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC).

Rosanna is responsible for corporate services function including facilities management, contract management, procurement services, group legal and compliance and the duties that fall under that of the Company Secretary. Recently Rosanna has taken on the responsibility for human resources and training.

Rosanna is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.

Michael Coburn     CPA, MCIS

Chief Operating Officer

Grad. Diploma (Applied Corporate Governance), CPA, BBus. (Acc't)

Michael has over 10 years experience in the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining SGE in 2006 Michael held a variety of positions in the finance discipline. The roles he held spanned across banking, superannuation, property and manufacturing industries. Michael came to SGE as the Chief Financial Officer and has now assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. As SGE’s Chief Operating Officer, Michael is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of SGE's lending, sales, business development, online services, marketing and member services areas. 

Michael is the Chair of the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCo), a member of the Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC) and a member of the Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC). Michael is also a Certified Practicing Accountant and a Chartered Secretary.

Angus McBean

Chief Risk Officer & Chief Financial Officer

BComm, GAICD, FAMI, ASA

Angus has over 20 years of experience with financial institutions having started his career at Deutsche Bank in Sydney where he worked in the Corporate Banking and Treasury departments in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. After leaving Deutsche Bank, Angus joined NM Rothschild & Sons in Sydney. A subsequent move to HSBC Bank Australia Ltd in Sydney was followed by a move to Armidale in 2002.

Angus was the Director, Development Officer at the University of New England from 2002-2005. From July 2005, Angus was employed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer with Community Mutual Group with responsibility for the Accounting, Corporate Services, Credit Risk, Member Administration, Operational Risk & Compliance & Treasury departments.

Angus was appointed Chief Risk Officer of SGE Credit Union in January 2011 and Chief Financial Officer in March 2012.

Angus is a member of the Assets & Liability Committee [ALCo], a member of the Credit Risk Management Committee [CRMC] and Chair of the Operational Risk Management Committee [ORMC].

Angus is also a Director of the Australasian Mutuals Institute.
