A little about ‘Our Kids’

‘Our Kids’ more formally known as the Northern Rivers Children’s Health Fund was founded in 2001 by Dr Chris Ingall. The aim of ‘Our Kids’ is to improve the health services for children in Northern Rivers area.

Our Kids achieves this through raising awareness and vital funds to purchase lifesaving medical equipment for the paediatric wards such as Children’s Ward, Special Care Nursery and Accident and Emergency at Lismore Base Hospital and the surrounding hospitals in the Northern Rivers catchment.

Without this equipment many children and neonates are being sent through to the cities to receive care that we could supply here simple with equipment that supports the medical team we have locally.

Our Kids also issue annual Community Grants; these are for families or organisations that care for special need children. These grants purchase equipment, medicine and therapeutic items to help with the children in their care.
